A. Under Windows XP
1. First download BIOS data and extract to your hard drive.
2. Double-click on the AMI Flash Program utility for windows (Usually labeled with the BIOS name).
3.Close all programs before installing and Click OK.
4. BIOS should automatically install.
5. Click Restart system after
system BIOS is updated, go to BIOS
setup
and
load
DEFAULT setting.
B.
Under MS-DOS
First
download BIOS data and extract to your hard drive.
Make
sure the AC adapter is connected to your notebook before you run this utility.
2-1. Create a MS-DOS Bootable floppy disk. Under Windows 98, the following command will create a bootable floppy: "sys a:"

Copy following files into Boot Disk:
f82745.exe
and XXXXX.rom
(System
BIOS File)

Boot
from the Boot Disk. If you do not have a USB floppy drive, you can create
a bootable CD using Nero or Easy CD Creator on a different computer.
At MS-DOS prompt A:\>
type:
Type f82745 XXXXX.rom
then press Enter key.
2-4.
Reboot
the computer After system BIOS is updated, go to BIOS
setup
and
load
DEFAULT setting.
C.
Under Windows 98SE
If the system is operating under Windows 95/98. Restart computer, press F8 and
select Safe and Command prompt only. At
Windows 95/98 MS-DOS prompt,
follow the steps in Under MS-DOS above to run this utility.
